Assignments: Exploring Different Types During Week 1

In Mythology and Folklore, it's very easy to see that there are lots of opportunities for students to gain points throughout the semester. I really like that about this class.

Seeing the diversity of the different kinds of assignments is very interesting to me for multiple reasons. I really don't enjoy classes that have the same kind of assignments over and over again. Doing homework assignment after homework assignment quickly becomes tedious to me, so I'm excited to take a class that has so many different things for me to do. I have a lot more freedom and variety this way, and that will definitely help keep me engaged. I'm very excited to get started on the storybook project, because it gives us so much creative freedom and allows us to use our imaginations. I'm also intrigued by the extra credit assignments because they offer extra points for things like extra comments, extra reading, or even making memes about the course content.

I'm excited to get started in this class, not just because I enjoy the subject material, but because I'm excited to learn it in such creative ways.
